Rain or Shine. Monday October 26 2015, doors open at 4:30pm (we want to start activities at 5:00pm).Shan-e-Punjab is hosting its annual Halloween/Diwali event at Galey Farms.

Entertainment starts at 5:00pm-6:00pm (depending on the number of items). We will also have our annual gigantic cakewalk, arts/crafts, face-painting and other activities at this time under the large white tent. At 6:00pm is when the Halloween venues open i.e. Carnevil, Halloween Train, the massive Halloween Corn Maze, Petting Zoo, etc will open.

Galey Farms will have a vendor also selling food, hot beverages etc.

Thanks to the Galey family students, parents, families, grandparents/grandmas,siblings, relatives and friends of Shan-e-Punjab, get tickets to one of the largest Halloween events for the entire family for half price. Why not also celebrate Diwali with the millions of lights that are usedin creating this event.

Children 12 and under: $6 (regular is $12)

Adults: $8 (regular $16)

Toddlers: held in the lap are free

The tickets provide access to 2 of 4 venues only - what are the choices:

1) Haunted corn maze (6 acres) for all ages

2) (covered) Craxy Train ride - all ages

3) CARNEVIL - ages 13 and above

4) Madame Isabella - all ages

The petting zoo is open in the evenings for everyone.

Pumpkins will be on sale for $2/lb (per pound).

Food will also be on sale by a vendor Galey Farms as part of their Pumpkinfest.

Galey farms has provided a date that will work for our dance school, which is Monday October 26, rain or shine.

Also there will be a large white tent, with a stage, so if any teams want to perform or anyone wants to put their own dance or song to celebrate Diwali we will also do that too. There are picnic table setup under the tent.

We will also host our cake walk which we each year under the tent. So we ask you to reach out or try yourself in baking a cake, it can have either a Diwali or Halloween theme. We will have a costume contest, so you can wear your Halloween costumes as well the teachers will have made Halloween/Diwali Treat bags for everyone which you will get the same night, these are for the students only.

Vouchers are available from me or Harp at the Dance Victoria studios 2750 Quadra Street Sunday October 25. Once you pay you will receive a voucher, the voucher is redeemed at Galey Farms and you receive your two venue tickets. Vouchers available starting October 1 2015.

The cake walk, performance and activities under the tent will be coordinated by teachers and the senior intermediate team. If any parents would like to take whirl at helping out at any part of this event please email me either Harp or I will respond.

Poster will be out soon and we ask parents to stay with their children, security will be there also.
